| What are the best results with picking your underlay? We all know that putting the best underlay is always the best route! Sound Guard is the best on the market. It has a lot of noise resistance and moisture resistance than any other underlay. It is equivalent to a 1/4" of cork. When walking on your laminate floor you want it to not sound so loud. So the better the underlay, the less you hear! Also when picking your floor, do not buy laminate that has underlay already attached. When that is done it does not allow underlay under the locking system. The locking system is the weakest part of the laminate. You want to roll out your underlay and lay your floor on top. Everything will have underlay underneath it. Silver is a good underlay for the price! It has great moisture protector but not so much on sound. It is great when on a budget and has to be done. Cork underlay is for engineered flooring, laminate flooring and tile flooring. It just depends on what you are doing in the house. Call if you have more questions! |
