Italian Hip Hop started in the early 90's. We where a bunch of Italian guys who where involved in the Italian ways. We wanted to tell a story but from an Italian perspective. We wanted to use Italian melodies mixed with Hip Hop and tell the Italian Brooklyn Story. When we where working on the album, it was for a movie that never transpired. So we had all these songs about the ways Italians lived, mixed with Hip Hop. We where the first generation Italian to grow up with the Hip Hop influence and the street type of Hustling that was going on. Also with the Bosses drilling us on the old school way. Times change and you have to change with the Times! Here they where," The Italian Boyz," Old School and New School mixed together. The Last of the Mohicans in the Old School Italian way but first in the New Hip Hop generation.
